By integrating our 3D avatar solution, manufacturers and retailers can offer their customers a sophisticated way to recommend the perfect product within seconds. With just a few points of customer data, our cloud-based system compares many products in the background and calculates the perfect fit and size of a product.
The end-user accesses the easy-to-use web application, which is integrated into our customer’s online environment. The user provides the system with a minimum of information such as height and weight, and takes two pictures, one from the front and one from the side, or uploads existing images. As an alternative, users can also choose a self-rated model and proceed without a picture.
Based on this information we generate a customer’s individual 3D avatar. We anonymize all data provided by the user, including their faces, and analyze it instantaneously. We have developed an extremely robust pipeline capable of dealing even with complicated scenarios to ensure the highest quality motion and posture analysis. Our image processing pipeline is resilient when handling such artefacts as background noise and non-standard lighting conditions. The service we provide is independent of the device and handles a variety of image qualities to ensure precise motion-capture and posture-based recommendations for every user.
We create a physical simulation and virtually connect the product under consideration with the user’s 3D-avatar in seconds in the cloud. Based on clients’ needs, one of two approaches can then be used to generate personalized recommendations:
Physics & Biomechanics Engine
Our physics and biomechanics engine physically simulates the usage of the product and digitally recreates the real life experience in just seconds. We transform our clients’ physical product into a mathematical representation that replicates the product’s behavior under different conditions when interacting with the individual customer avatar. These 3D interactions are analyzed by our biomechanics engine to extract key parameters and assess the right product fit and performance.
AI Advisor
The AI advisor is a machine-learning based recommendation system that finds users that share the same attributes. This approach uses a self-feeding database which is connected to the client’s platform or online shop. The data flows directly from the user into the database and provides fast, precise sizing recommendations that are easily understood by end users.

The Output
Our recommendation proposes the best matching product for the user based on data, AI and proven biomechanical methods, and forwards the results to the client. The user gets a perfectly matched product or a selection of different products to choose from.
